“The real freedom of any individual can always be measured by the amount of responsibility he must assume for his own welfare and security.” Robert Welch
A few weeks ago, I wrote a blog post entitled COVER-UP that expressed how I felt about wearing masks and face coverings. However, in that post, I didn’t discuss potential consequences for those that insist that NOT wearing a mask is their right. But after reading a friend’s Facebook post about yet another individual bitchin’ and moanin’ about their right NOT to wear a mask, I decided to do a follow-up post discussing a possible solution that would be a win-win for everyone. Anti-masks wearers, in order to retain the right to NOT wear a mask, should be made to relinquish other rights. Let’s talk SHIP because, in this week’s blog post, I’m suggesting and encouraging ALL anti-masks wearers to simply WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS!!!
Many cities in California have begun to ticket people that refuse to wear masks in public. The fines range from $100 for the first offense to $1,500 for the third offense and an additional $500 per subsequent offenses. The fines are pretty hefty but are they an effective deterrent? Should anti-mask wearers be penalized more? I think they should. If you refuse to wear a face mask, you should WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS in other areas. If wearing a mask is a violation of your rights, then you should WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS, acknowledging that you willingly forgo any and all medical assistance should you contract the Coronavirus or any symptoms associated with the virus.
If you insist on NOT wearing a mask, WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS consenting that you will NOT occupy a hospital bed, utilize a ventilator, or any other life-threatening medical services or equipment if you contract the Coronavirus. Based on your right to remain maskless, WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS and assent NOT to seek any medical services that would unnecessarily risk exposing medical personnel –doctors, nurses, admissions, housekeeping, food services- X-ray techs, respiratory therapists, etc. If you feel like your right NOT to wear a mask is being violated, WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS, and if you contract the Coronavirus, refuse any and all efforts to save your life. Because of your right to NOT wear a face mask, these WAIVERS of YOUR RIGHTS should be signed and serve as a medical contract that is sent to your health care provider releasing them from any and all medical expenses and/or liabilities that violate your right to go maskless.
For every action, there is a reaction, so if your action is to exercise your right NOT to wear a mask, your reaction should be to WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS forgoing any and all medical care if you contract the virus. Although WAIVING YOUR RIGHTS to medical care and services, still won’t give you access to businesses that require face masks to be worn, it will ensure that you retain the right to go maskless. If you are an anti-mask wearer, that’s your right but, you also have the right to assume responsibility for your own health, welfare, and security-even if it kills you. Wear a mask or WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS!!!
SHIP TALK: Do you think anti masks wearers should WAIVE THEIR RIGHTS to forgo medical care if they contract the coronavirus?

I think that if they were given the choice, more folks would conform to wearing masks. Noone want to risk losing their health benefits. Just a hopeful scare tactic. p
I think if we make that proposition they will conform. Noone wants to lose health benefits.
Do you think anti masks wearers should WAIVE THEIR RIGHTS to forgo medical care if they contract the coronavirus?
Yes I d think they should waive their rights to forgo any medical care, because chances are, if they would have worn a mask, they may not have contracted Coronavirus.
Waiving your right is not an option if we want this virus to go away. I will continue to wear my mask because i can afford to pay the steep fines. Great blog!
